  I am a South Florida-based journalist and have had two extremely critical MRI's denied, back-to-back, by Molina. The first, a brain scan, is the most critical to eliminate the possibility of a brain tumor that's causing frequent vertigo attacks; the second is an MRI (Ultrasound also denied) for a plantar plate rupture in my foot, disabling me from walking great distances. Both MRIs are critical for my livelihood as a writer. Both are denied, putting me at great risk. Customer service says the patient's doctor must speak to a Molina doctor for any hope of approval, even though all paperwork was submitted. So if I die of a brain tumor, will Molina cover the funeral costs??
