  The pharmacy attention at this Walgreens is abysmal! I would not recommend it to anyone in the area.
  
  I called to find out why my prescription hadn’t been refilled after two days, and the technician told me they had faxed my doctor, but hadn’t heard back from his office. When he looked up my doctor’s name in their system, I was told that my doctor didn’t accept faxes. So, then I asked the technician if they had called his office to follow up. He told me that I should have called the doctor’s office to follow up. (Mind you, the pharmacy never called or contacted me to let me know the status of my perscription.)
  
  How would I have known to call my doctor if no one from Walgreens had called/texted/emailed me that there was an issue? Not only that, but isn’t it Walgreens’ job to deal with my doctor and fill my prescription to the best of their abilities?
  
  According to this Walgreens, no. They are only obligated to send the one fax, and if the fax goes unanswered, then they will let me know one week later.
  
  Personally, I think that is so wrong! What if this was a medication that I needed to take every single day? I can’t wait a week to hear back from the pharmacy. Someone needs to make sure these pharmacists and technicians take some accountability for their actions! Their inability to be thoughtful through the prescription process is going to kill a patient one day.
